    Maternity Clothes

Well, I’m finally 12 weeks along, and my pants are starting to get tight. As someone who was slender pre-pregnancy, I have a small bump already and my midwife has told me that I will likely “pop” fairly early due to my small frame. Aden + Anais is one of the top rated companies that supply muslin products.  read more »

What to expect - the first year

At one point or another, I am certain that most of you have laid hands on a What to Expect book. They are America’s best-selling childcare series. I can understand why. Their books cover your journey from preconception all the way through to the toddler years. These guidebooks are indispensable. There's been a lot of action in the media lately about skinny-fat and exactly what that is. It actually surprised me that it's considered such a new term seeing as I have used it for years. I always refer to those people as walking Jughead's like the guy in the Archie comic book that could eat whatever he wanted and not gain a pound.  read more »

After nursing for a few weeks, there is a noticeable difference in my body. They say that 80% of women wear the wrong bra size. So it is important to get fitted periodically, especially after becoming a mom. I was lucky enough to get fitted by a designer from Bravado. With each item that I had tried on, she made sure that it fit me properly. Her expertise made a world of a difference.  read more »
