24 weeks!! Can't believe it!

Well, I am 24 weeks pregnant today… I cannot believe how fast this is going by… 16 weeks to go… wow.

We got the nursery painted last weekend, it was a light green color, so, in finding out it’s a girl, we painted the top half of the walls pink and put a Disney Princess border around it. :)

I have my registry at Babies R Us pretty much all finished, and I am set on what stroller, car seat, playyard, etc I want! I seem to be going with Graco all around! As far as the car seat and stroller I like the shear convenience of the Travel System… The car seat with the stroller all in one… and as I’ve read reviews and such on it, it sounds like exactly what I need! and we are going with one of the graco pack and play playyards with bassinet and change table! hello convenience!! lol anyways, this is all getting so exciting now! I am feeling the baby every single day now, and my hubby can feel the baby kicking too! My grandma has a crib for us (it’s only about 5 years old, used only once) so I think we will be going to pick that up tonight! The nursery is becoming a nursery!!

Everything seems to be going great again… DH is a carpenter and just finished his third period in school… didn’t have a job after school (thank god that only lasted a week) he’s the bread winner in this house and, especially considering he’s already not been working for two months, not having a job with no place out there hiring carpenters… It was getting pretty scary… We were pretty close to selling one of our vehicles (even tho we really need two) and who knows what else we would have needed to do… But he ended up getting back on at his old place, which is good, because for the most part he likes it there! And it’s a steady Monday to Friday with no OT job… Which is kind of hard to find in that industry. It’s easy for him to get time off there as well, for ultrasounds and what-not… And as it gets closer, when I go into Labor, he will be able to just leave work forsure if need be… so everything is looking up for us again :)

Anyways, just thought I would post a blog entry finally!! I can’t wait to start buying stuff! lol
